Wear suitable gloves. Mix the hair color with the developer according to the proportions indicated on the manufacturer's instructions. Apply evenly to dry, unwashed hair. Leave on for the recommended time, generally between 30 and 35 minutes, then rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Use a specific post-color shampoo if indicated. Strictly follow the instructions on the packaging.
